Quite Earth om serien: "Day One chronicles a global catastrophe from the perspective of the residents of a southern California apartment complex. In the wake of a mysterious event that has shattered lines of communication and (literally) changed the shape of the world, the survivors must work together to both rebuild and save the Earth from a menace that might have already consumed countless other worlds."

La oss krysse fingrene for denne, og alle andre nye show som kommer i 2010, for Virtuality vil nok aldri bli mer enn en ganske god pilot. En ny trailer til Caprica kommer forøvrig ganske straks, så følg med!

Flash Forward, True Blood, Heroes

Mannen bak den nye serien Flash Forward, Marc Guggenheim, sier til SciFi Wire at serien ikke vil bli en streng gjenskapelsen av Robert J. Sawyer's originale novelle: "Basically the book provided the concept... the notion of a worldwide blackout, people flash-forward into their future... Pretty much everything else is different. The characters are different. The circumstances are different, the nature of the stories that we're telling are different... The novel is essentially a jumping-off point for us." Og, kanskje enda viktigere: det vil ikke bli en ny Lost med hundretusen løse tråder og forfattere som ikke vet hva eller hvor de vil gjenom flere sesonger. Fordi:

"What the show is about is really simple. Everyone in the world blacks out at the same time on the same day, and during their blackout they have a vision of their future for 2 minutes and 17 seconds, six months into the future. They all wake up and deal with the consequences. They deal with the consequences of the blackout. They deal with the consequences of the things that they learned during their flash-forwards... We say in the pilot that the characters are going to see a vision of their future [on] April 29, 2010. Which means we've got six months [worth of story]. There ain't no vamping to be done. We plant a very specific flag, so even if we wanted to vamp, we no longer have the option."

True Blood: "HBO's second-season premiere of True Blood last Sunday earned a series record-setting 3.7 million viewers, making it the most-watched program on the network since the Sopranos finale two years ago, according to The Hollywood Reporter."

En ny sneak peak til SGU finner du her, sammen med to andre trailere.

..BSG, sa du? Forhåpningene er ikke skyhøye. Personlig satser jeg på grei og daff underholdning, i ekte stargatetratidjson. Men, who knows?

Serien starter forøvrig med en 2-3 timer lang film (pilot) og fortsetter med ukentlige episoder i oktober 2009.

Duncan Jones snakker litt om Moon, produksjonen og Sam Rockwell i et intervju med ScifiWire, og noen nye bilder dukker opp i ''bakgrunnen'':

Olmos om The Plan

Regissøren bak The Plan (November 2009), Edward James Olmos aka Admiral William Adama, sa i et panelintverju i L.A i går at filmen vil bli ''exactly what you think it is''.

Det vil si mer Starbuck i tank top - ja takk? Vel, faktisk vil vi få møte en hel del kjente ansikt, men Kara Thrace er dessverre ikke en av dem. Olmos utdyper:

"You see the complete opposite of the first 281 days of what we went through, ...seen through the eyes of the Cylons, and it is breathtaking. It's fantastic. It's not fun, but I will say that you will sit there.

I couldn't have imagined this kind of a situation happening at the end of a show where you would actually start at the beginning. That's a masterful piece of understanding, Ron [Moore.] Genius. Because after you see The Plan, you'll want to go back and view the whole series again.

All I can tell you is it's an extraordinary look at the Cylons, how they masterminded what they did."

Han røper også at dvd'en vil bli 128 minutter lang, dvs. 30 minutter mer cylon action enn hva filmen som blir ''aired'' vil inneholde. Olmos har regissert 4 episoder av Battlestar Galactica fra før, bl.a Islanded in a Stream of Stars. Selv sitter jeg igjen med inntrykket av at det er Olmos som har vist mest lidenskap og personlig interesse for BSG (av castet), og det hjelper. Jeg gleder meg enormt!

Om Virtuality

Den to timer lange piloten til den nye scifi-serien Virtuality, med både Ronald D. Moore og Michael Taylor (BSG) bak skrivebordet, har fått en litt tidligere dato: 26. juni!

Fox om serien: ''The crew of the Phaeton is approaching the go/no-go point of its epic 10-year journey through outer space. With the fate of Earth in the crew's hands, the pressure is intense. The best bet for helping the crew members maintain their sanity is the cutting-edge virtual-reality technology installed on the ship. It's the perfect stress-reliever until they realize a glitch in the system has unleashed a virus on to the ship. Tensions mount as the crew decides how to contain the virus and complete their mission. Meanwhile, their lives are being taped for a reality show back on Earth.''

Jeg må si jeg gleder meg veldig til denne etter å ha sett hva slags kvalitet gutta leverte med BSG.

Alien franchise rebooted

Alien får en prequel!
Tony Scott røper ikke stort mer i intervjuet , men bekrefter da endelig en forløper!

Og i et tilfelle som dette er da sannelig en forløper å foretrekke.

Den nye filmen vil bli regissert av ''commercials director '' Carl Rinsch og filmingen start forhåpentligvis allerede i år.

Det gjenstår bare å se om jeg kan motstå å tenke på stakkars Zaphod Beeblebrox gjenom hele filmen, så skal dette bli riktig så bra tror jeg!

BSG sesong 4 soundtrack

En utgivelse er endelig bekreftet den 21. juni. Det blir en dobbel-CD (den første og siste, sukk), og de av dere som har sett denne siste sesongen vet hvor mye bra vi vil finne her.
Selv har jeg ventet lenge på denne utgivelsen og er glad for å endelig få en dato.

Fantastisk fantrailer: Green Lantern

Green Lantern har vært i produksjon i flere år allerede, og Warner Bross tenker seg en premieredato i 2011. En ihugga fan (av alt godt der ute, virker det som) har laget denne traileren til å fyre opp hypen' og få vår kjære Nathan Fillion inn som hovedrollen Hal Jordan, og med det ser Green Lantern allerede ut til å bli en fantastisk film:
